The Casse-Museaux were born in 2012. Enthusiasts, actors and historians, all in the historical milieu for many years, decided to pool their know-how.
Already arrived in our beautiful medieval city in 2015, their performance, the Coquina des Casse-Museaux, workshops and tales about cooking in the Middle Ages, for children, was widely acclaimed by the public and received at the show «Fous d'histoire» the big favorite category «various animations».
The Casse-museaux have developed new services. Sometimes pedagogues, sometimes storytellers or actors, they decipher historical cuisine through workshops, shows or re-enactments, all with humour and enthusiasm.

Inspired by the counters of large merchant cities, by the silk and spice road, but also by the stalls of small towns, Casses museaux propose us here a lively, demonstrative and educational reenactment.
Spices and cereals with Espicier de Paris,
dairy products with the Buronnier of volcanoes,
and pasta with the Maestro Siciliani.
These passionate actors make you discover everything you need to know about consumer goods in the Middle Ages. Under a shop or a circular marquee, a true medieval market hall, these merchants of another time are waiting for you. They have nothing to sell you but a lot to teach you...
