This is how the music group of medieval/folk inspiration could be described: Les Compagnons du Gras Jambon. Created in Toulouse in 2009, it developed around a group of friends.
The musicians, from various musical backgrounds, bring with them many influences which, by mixing, created "Les Compagnons du Gras Jambon" and gave this group this sound, this ardor, this power and this presence so particular and that defines them again and again.
Without warning, the Compagnons du Gras Jambon shake up the world of medieval music in their own way and infuse it with a passion, humor and a very personal ardor, never seen before on medieval festivals.
Powerful and exalted rhythms, festive and saucy melodies, it is with enthusiasm and generosity that this group from Toulouse which “moves” sets the crowds ablaze and shares their music overflowing with vitality. Coming from the finest French companies of medieval entertainment, several music conservatories as well as the French rock scene, this group overflowing with energy and good humor is just waiting to fight it out, to set the streets of your festival on fire and to share his very festive medieval music.
