Mardi Gras Wonders


Ingredients / for 10 people


500 g of flour 120 g of sugar 100 g of butter 25 g of icing sugar 4 eggs 2 tablespoons of cognac 8 g of salt


PREPARATION
1 Put the flour in a salad bowl then the sugar, salt, the butter previously melted in a saucepan (this makes it easier to work the dough), the whole eggs and finally, the cognac.
2 Knead the preparation until you get a fairly firm dough. Roll it into a ball, cover with a tea towel and let stand for 2 hours.
3 Flatten the dough with the rolling pin and cut out shapes with the cookie cutters.
4 Prepare the frying. Throw the wonders in small quantities in the frying. Cook them for about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
To finish
Take them out and drain them on absorbent paper. Keep them warm at the entrance to the oven. When all the rounds are done, sprinkle the salad bowl with icing sugar.
