Volunteers

If they didn't exist, we would have to invent them

These people out of the ordinary and full of goodwill

Always ready to help: lend a hand

That for pleasures, not for the lure of gain

Generous, they give everything of themselves

Without sparing neither their time nor their effort

Here are the Volunteers; they work in the shadows and in silence

Without concern for profit, to keep things moving

And it must be recognized by many associations

Thanks to them were able to be born and endow themselves with a name

With volunteers things are always going well

But now we forget them as if they had nothing to do with it

But at the slightest mistake, if things go wrong

We think of them, we put their names forward

It would take more often than a little to them we think

They are still struggling, very few rewards

Thanks to them, the valiant Volunteers

They deserve a hundred times to have a halo

Praise on them, I would write pages

It is with these few lines that I pay tribute to them.
